All forms of Sunshine Coast accommodation, across all star ratings and all sizes (from 5 rooms to 500 rooms) are encouraged to join us.

The Games have the potential to deliver significant benefits to the State including driving tourism and visitation well before and long after the Games.

The 2032 Games prospect for South East Queensland has recently taken a significant step forward with the invitation to enter targeted dialogue with the International Olympic Committee.

As part of this stage a Future Host Questionnaire is currently being prepared and there are a range of requirements including accommodation guarantees.

Should SEQ be awarded the Games, events will be held across Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast and other areas across South East Queensland.

The Games have the potential to deliver significant benefits to the State including driving tourism and visitation.

Gabrielle Daniels & Kelly Clive are in the process of securing 41,000 accommodation guarantees across SEQ on behalf of State Government.

The objectives of the Accommodation Information Sessions are:

• To provide an opportunity to showcase the accommodation opportunities for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games
• Secure sufficient accommodation guarantees for the Sunshine Coast by the end of May
• To showcase and foster community pride in the 2032 BID
• To provide a forum for operators to be involved and part of the early BID engagement for 2032
